Every time I cook this dish I’m with very fond memories of my time in Brazil. I’m not Brazilian but is it weird I become so prideful? Using my brazilian made Tramontina and using good ribeye is how I pay my respects!
Every family has their own spin on this but here’s some major major non negotiables to making this dish.
You don’t need to go fancy with anything and believe it or not, there’s some ingredients you shouldn’t go fancy with.
Regular ketchup and yellow mustard. Yes, you need this combo! Worster, tomato paste, tomato sauce, can be switched for something else or omitted. Served with white rice and fried potato sticks or batata palha.
