Local doctor returns home to complete residency
Fresh out of medical school, residents spend 3-5 years or more of their lives training to become primary care physicians or pediatricians, or preparing for specialties from anesthesiology to surgery and many others. While schools are in recess for the summer, as a teaching hospital that serves as the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine, Baystate Medical Center is welcoming its new class of residents like Dr. Kasper.
