Everyone knows Africa is endless savannas and deserts with lions, giraffes, and gazelle. Someone maybe knows about the equatorial rainforests with monkeys and parrots where foreign tourists don't go so frequently because of the humid air and blood-sucking insects. But not everyone knows that Africa has a more humid, hot, and unfriendly place unknown to most people. It's the grandiose Sudd marsh in South Sudan, a surprising ecosystem with small islands among the water with happy people living on them.
