Chinese architect Kongjian Yu shows how we can tackle one of the greatest problems facing cities across the globe by creating cities which absorb rainwater and allow natural water flow. These sponge cities use a wetland system that adapts to changing flood levels as well as providing urban green spaces where wildlife can return and that people can enjoy.
