Chris's Mom discusses Chris biggest problem now, her memory, particularly short term memory and the severe amnesia she had after her accident. Long term memory doesn't seem to be a problem with Chris but short term memory is a real problem. She has trouble remember what she did yesterday. If her Mom discusses situations with her, her memory seems to get a little bit better but instant recall isn't good. Her Mom states that her long term memory is probably better than her own. Not unusual for a brain injury survivor.
