☁Not all gas is bad! 🤭

💡⚡We're converting nasty methane gas from our landfill sites at Bunya, Caboolture and Dakabin into green energy to power up to 7,000 nearby homes!💚🏘

Thanks to our partnership with LGI Ltd we have abated over 900,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent from entering the atmosphere since 2010. That's the same as planting 15 million seedlings and waiting for them to mature into trees! 🌳

This is a win-win for the environment and ratepayers, with any profits from the green energy being reinvested into resource recovery and recycling initiatives ♻🚮
