Hi guys I’m here today with the Jetpilot crew and we are here to talk about life jackets and vests and how to properly find your fit. Choosing a proper life jacket can be a pretty daunting task, there are lots of different colours, sizes and shapes and we are here today to help you find them.
You must check your current size weight and measurements and use these with the size and weight guidelines printed on the inside of all Jetpilot Life Vests. This is going to give you an accurate indication of what size range will work best for you.
Your Vest should fit snug and comfortable around the chest and underarms, it should be pulled tight and not twisted and all buckles should be able to be tightened by the wearer easily.
If your vest lifts up it has the potential to come up over your head with the impact to the water. It is crucial to ensure a safe and well-fitted vest, please also note that vests will usually expand by up to 10% once in the water as well so a snug fit that is still comfortable is perfect.
Now you have found your fit with your vest you are ready to hit the water! For more information visit Jetpilot.com.au
