Using this easy method you can have the meat removed from a grouse of any variety including ruffed grouse and spruce hens. To clean your game bird very quickly all you will need to do is stand on the wings and pull on the legs. The breast meat and rib cage will quickly be separated from the rest of the grouse!
In this video I take more than a minute in order to demonstrate the method clearly, had I not taken extra time to show the various steps this grouse would have been cleaned much faster.
With the grouse's rib cage remove it will allow you to cook it in an oven or even over a campfire (wrapped in aluminum foil) stuffed with your favorite ingredients. I have found garlic and onions to be a couple of my favorite stuffings.
