Hi folks! As I'm waiting for a Godot 3.3 bug fix I thought I'd record another devlog. This time I decided to record my voice - sorry about that. It may not show in the video but I did put some work in lately. Some of the things I added are:
- more challenging combat with more weapons and new movements such as bullet dodging
- enemies are now running forward, backward and sideways (based on dot product calculations)
- system for loading and discarding assets and terrain chunks dynamically (based on distance) in order to improve frame rate and overall performance
- old-school coin drops from eliminated enemies (which is my personal favorite)
- some other fixes which you won't see
