The days of MS-DOS can feel like it was the Dark Ages for some of us. One of the relics of that era was the educational computer game known as The Oregon Trail. The game was designed to teach school children about the realities of pioneer life on the Oregon Trail, transporting them into the life of a wagon leader guiding a party of settlers from the East to Oregon’s Willamette Valley in 1848.
