It’s that time of year again, when zookeepers at Whipsnade weighed and measured 9,500 of its animals residents to check up on their health.
The count included cheeky meerkats tip toeing on weighing scales and even a 1.6 ton rhino getting their check-ups, right down to the smallest residents such as butterflies and spiders.
So who was the most stubborn beast? Well, Heidi the reindeer took some of the most coaxing to get her to step up on to the scales.
