Rusty Nail Cocktail. My favourite cocktail with a twist. I love Rusty Nail, and today I have a little twist on the classic recipe using a new Whisky Liqueur.

The new Whisky Liqueur for Cotswolds Distillery is very similar to Drambuie but is a blend of botanicals and single malt whisky. If you like easy cocktails the Rusty Nails is one for you to try.

RUSTY NAIL COCKTAIL [the original]
- 50ml Blended Scotch Whisky
- 25ml Drambuie Whiskey Liqueur
- 1-2 Dashes Angostura Bitters [optional]

RUSTY NAIL COCKTAIL [new recipe]
- 50ml Blended Scotch Whisky
- 25ml Cotswolds Whisky Liqueur
- 1-2 Dashes Angostura Bitters [optional]

Build directly in Old-Fashioned Glass over ice. For more enjoyment, I suggest to stir the cocktail first in a mixing glass and serve over fresh ice. You can garnish with lemon zest if you want a touch of a citrus taste.
