By 2030, about half the world’s extreme poor will live in situations of fragility, conflict and violence (FCV). This event will highlight the importance of effective development approaches – in full complementarity with humanitarian and peacebuilding support – to address the root causes of FCV, build resilience in crisis situations, support the most vulnerable communities, and help countries escape situations of FCV to achieve peace, stability, and prosperity over the long-term.
