Joyce Adu-Amankwah, Specialist Haemoglobinopathies Midwife, and Consultant Haematologist Rachel Kesse-Adu, will speak about the challenges presented during COVID-19 when providing contemporary care, including an overview of the biological and pathophysiological background of Haemoglobinopathies.
The midwifery aspects of supporting women and families, including client centred care to pregnant and childbearing women with Haemoglobinopathies will be highlighted.
