A fight erupts in a jail cell between two inmates. Officers rush to break up the dangerous fight and force the suspect into a restraint chair. Elsewhere, a woman is distraught at the thought of spending weeks in jail. An officer catches sight of an inmates fresh prison tattoo. As a result they conduct a sweep of the prison cells, searching for the illegal tattoo equipment.

Jail is an American documentary reality television series that follows suspects in custody from booking through to incarceration. The show documents events in different jails across the U.S. Jail is the sister show to Cops, a show that follows police officers on patrol.
