Melbourne, Fla. -- Ross A. Dr. Clevens: "So this is Brianne, one of our fabulous patient care coordinators, and we're here today to discuss Liquid Rhinoplasty. So take a look in the hand mirror and tell me what your concerns are, please."
Brianne: "My main concern is my hump here, and then I'm also concerned with kind of this indentation that has occurred here."
Dr. Clevens: "And then you're also concerned about the way the tip of your nose moves when you speak?"
Brianne: "Yes when I smile it tends to pull down."
Dr. Clevens: "So show me. Okay, very good. So smile again, are you concerned with this line through here or not really?"
Brianne: "Yes."
Dr. Clevens: "Okay, so today we're going to do a little bit of filler to the nose, Liquid Rhinoplasty. We're going to add a little bit of filler through here to help camouflage her hump. A little bit of filler through here as well to add a better balance to the nose. We'll add a little bit of filler to the tip of the nose to create a better definition through the tip. A little bit of Botox through here and through here, and to the upper lip as well to help with the bouncy nasal tip as she smiles and talks."
Dr. Clevens: "So when Brianne smiles she has a horizontal line here in her upper lip, so we're going to do a little bit of Botox to help address that horizontal line and then when she smiles, big smile, when she smiles the tip of her nose bobs, what we call 'hyper mobile nasal tip,' so we're going to place a little bit of Botox, relax for me, we're going to place a little bit of Botox here, here, and here. And that should address those concerns."
Dr. Clevens: "I'll just put a little ice on and let her rest for a few minutes and then she can get on her way."
Dr. Clevens: "We just performed a Liquid Rhinoplasty on Brianne, she has a little bit of a hump through here, so we added some filler in this area to help smooth the bridge, and a little bit of filler through this area as well. She is a little swollen through here but this will go down in the next couple of days. We also added a little filler to add a better definition to the tip, and then filler along this area through here to create a straight appearance to her nose. So we improved the profile, the tip, and straightened the nose, and then she also has a horizontal line in her upper lip that she doesn't like so we put a little bit of Botox through here. And then when she talks the tip of her nose bounces, so we put a little bit of Botox through here and through here that should help address the mobility of her nasal tip. So this took maybe 5 to 10 minutes to perform, it doesn't look as though she's going to have any bruising or swelling, so she should be able to return to her ordinary activities immediately. I just would not want you wearing any glasses in this area for a day or so. So what do you think?"
Brianne: "I'm super excited that I no longer have this hump in my nose and I didn't have to have surgery to take care of that issue. It was virtually painless and now I can go back to my everyday activities."
