Dr. Stephen J. Hernandez and Dr. Diane Schwartz of the Hofstra University School of Education discuss the Hofstra Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (HECIS) Program. This master's degree program is funded by the US Department of Education -- Office of Special Education and prepares excellent teachers for additional certifications in Early Childhood Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis while providing substantial scholarship support.
