The drums had an insane amount of stuff compressed onto them at the start (as did the guitars), causing some distortions. I tried to mix it as "soft" as possible to keep it smooth for the most parts. Since I felt the chorus a bit dragging, I raised the tempo a bit and tried to sculp the guitar more into the center and leave some of the "side noises" behind.
