[Update 1 : I have the same problem with all the OpenGL games, but I hadn't it some years ago (I didn't notice dark colors on some old screenshots).
Update 2 : I fixed the problem ! The origin came from the ICC profile of my calibrated screen, more precisely when he was loaded from "DisplayCAL Profile Loader" instead of Windows (in this case there is no issue). But I saw that lots of people have an issue of dark picture with OpenGL games, so I didn't suspect that. I will still let this video on YouTube, because maybe it could help someone. For more details, see the link below for the Steam forums.]
I have an issue in Quake III Arena with the gamma, even if I change some settings in the "q3config.cfg" file.
It looks like the gamma is correct 1 or 2 seconds and then it switches with a darker picture.
Concerning my system, I have an old ATI Radeon HD 4890 GPU with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz CPU and 8 Gb of RAM.
Does somebody have an idea how to fix this issue please ?
Thanks ! ;-)
(The sequences were captured in 720p, but upscaled in the 1440p resolution to get the VP9 codec on YouTube.)
I created a thread about this on the Steam forums : [ Ссылка ]
