First appearing in the Transformers: Earth Wars mobile game in 2017, Volcanicus is the combiner formed by the Dinobots. In the Prime Wars Trilogy He would battle the likes of Megatron and Predaking in the Primal Swamp, until being dismantled by Overlord and a Unicron Corrupted Rodimus Prime.

The Generation Selects Comic Series would give Volcanicus a different origin, here, t to combine out of necessity when the Quintessons attempted to enslave the team. Here, Volcanicus would combine with Computron to create Volcaticon, battle against Abomninus and then subsequently join up with the Terrorcon combiner to defeat Megatron Omega and the first of Primacron’s Planet sized creations, Neo Primus.

But Volcanicus’ role would change in the Cyberverse series where the Dinobots would accidentally combine after touching the Enigma of Combination and would be forced to learn how to function as a single unit before battling with Trypticon and his mercenaries on a time frozen Cybertron. The combiner would return later in the series to battle against Tarn’s army of supersoldiers alongside both the Autobots and Decepticons.
