Hello everyone! This video details my visit to the new Rocket Car Wash facility on 168th and Maple in Omaha. Wow! What a beautiful-looking facility. When I recorded this video, the site was only about a month old. This is Omaha and Rocket's first site to feature an interior detailing tunnel alongside the exterior tunnel. Like the site on 204th and Dodge in Elkhorn, the site features an STI Flowline Belt paired with Sonny's tunnel equipment all linked to a DRB POS/controller with LPR. This wash did a great job cleaning my vehicle up.
Rocket has 20+ locations coming to the Omaha area within the next few years. Along with these sites, they are going nationwide with sites in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania all coming soon.
The staff at this facility are pretty nice, although a little pushy on getting you to buy their membership plans.
The wash shown in this video is the top $24 Rocket Wash. It includes all that this CSI/Lustra-equipped tunnel has to offer. The wash was obtained through a free wash coupon. The top unlimited package is $34.99/month and you can now use DRB's new License Plate Recognition system at this site. Along with FastID, this site is still equipped with FastPass. Like the Elkhorn site, this facility has three lanes, which are all manned-cashier lanes and don't consist of any DRB XPT pay stations like La Vista's two-lane setup. Unlimited club members also receive benefits in the exclusive member's room such as free mat washers, free towels, free glass cleaner, and free all-purpose cleaners.
This is one of the most modern tunnels that you will find in the Omaha area. The building design is very unique and a great symbol for the brand. It's Omaha's first site to have an interior detailing tunnel and although I didn't go through it, it looks very cool.
Overall, Rocket Car Wash on 168th and Maple is a phenomenal site and I recommend it to anyone in the Omaha area.
