In this video I modify the length of the previously installed spark plug wires to better fit the route I want the wires to be in. I used the MSD 8850 kit that contains the 90 degree boots and new connectors for this modification. The crimper I used is from MSD, but any brand can be used and most suppliers will sell the specific dies needed for crimping the new connectors. When finished, I think the new routing looks much better and I wish I had done it this way the first time. This is incredibly easy to install and you'd be back on the road in less than an hour.
Crimper: MSD 35051 (comes with correct jaws for project)
Boots: MSD 8850 (comes with 90 degree boots and crimping sockets)
The car is a 1966 Mustang Coupe with a factory V8 and 4 speed transmission.
Shot with GoPro Hero 8 with the Media Mod, and a Hero 5, edited on Davinci Resolve 16.
