(16 Mar 2022) The parents of students of a school in Kharkiv damaged in the shelling gathered to help repair the building on Wednesday.
The three-storey building built in 1928 was hit at around 03:00 a.m., (0100GMT) injuring one person, according to the Ukrainian Emergency Services.
Parents of the students joined their efforts Wednesday morning to clear the debris and fix remaining parts of the building.
The father of two girls studying at 8th grade Pavlo Danilenko said parents of children who stayed in the city came naturally without any calls for help.
The school's director Lilia Sharlai believes the primary school will be able to reopen for the next academic year in September.
