In this video, I detail the very first time my patient coded....yikes. I also describe one of the nurses attempts to bully and embarrass me. I was not a new nurse but very new to ICU.
The ICU environment can be very intimidating, even for experienced nurses, therefore nurses that are familiar in that environment should be more intentional in their interaction with nurses new to specialty. #nursebullying #icunurse #toxicnursing
