A client offered me a free dresser. She was going to donate it to Goodwill but asked if I would like it instead. It was messed up with layers of peeling paint. But why not? It's free. But here's the question I asked myself several times ... Is free always worth it?
I reeeeaaalllllly dislike stripping paint. It's messy, labor intensive, "chemically," and just plain, all-around yuck! So I used a heat gun for the first time. How did that go? What's best for stripping paint - chemical stripper or heat gun? Come see what I decided after stripping this piece.
