I passed through Centralia PA on a typical cold dreary day on 2 April 2024. The wind and its perfect speed created an eerie all around me loud reverberating surround sound type of sound. It was the strangest wind sound I have ever heard. Partly due to most of the town being in the valley where the wind at certain speeds can create a reverberating enhancing sound effect. Also steam is still emanating from near the St Ignatius cemetery and off Big Mine Run Rd
