In this video, I take a solo trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon so I can do a trail run. I parked the car at the Bright Angel Lodge, rode the shuttle bus to the South Kaibab Trailhead and started my run there. I ran down the South Kaibab Trail, crossed the Black Bridge, and then spent a bunch of time relaxing and enjoying the scenery at Phantom Ranch. I then crossed over the Bright Angel Bridge and took the Bright Angel Trail through Indian Garden, and all the way back up to the car. It ended up being about 19 miles with 4,800 vert. This was a difficult but extremely rewarding adventure.
