Patel is a Research Professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs. His research surrounds food systems, world ecology, and the international political economy. Featured in numerous publications and having recently completed a documentary project about food systems, Patel excels in research, writing, and teaching surrounding the subjects of social and development policy as well as policy communications.
