STORYLINE:
A steady flow of refugees came out of the Afghan city of Kunduz on Saturday, as anti-Taliban troops surrounded the city.
Kunduz is the last stronghold of the Taliban in the north of the country - with about 20-thousand Taliban troops reportedly inside the city.
One refugee said she escaped after she was harassed by Taliban fighters, who looted local people's homes and mistreated the women and girls.
Meanwhile, a U.S. B-52 bomber and attack jets continued to bombard Taliban positions in the hills outside of Kunduz.
Earlier, refugees said that U.S. bombs had pounded Taliban defenses, taking out a number of artillery pieces and troops.
