dang that title is long 😭😭anyway HIII sorry for inactivity im on vacation and im kinda at a standstill w my yt acc tbh but in light of lego monkie kid season 5 dropping i thought itd be fun to try reanimating a scene so here is a (rough) wip for that!!
for those who dont know : flyingbark (the animation team for lmk seasons 1-4) isnt working on lmk anymore and has been replaced by wildbrain (team for s5)
wildbrain is a pretty good studio but they specialise in rigged and 3d animation which is … a choice when it comes to a 2d animated show LOL and seems to still need more time to warm up to the style!! it does seem a bit unfair for lego to give wildbrain a show very out of their zone esp when the series is so built on flyingbark’s stunning visuals sooo personally the animation quality doesnt bother me bc .. these r honestly just animators doing their best but i still wanted to reanimate this scene nontheless :3 hope that they maybe try to get a different 2d studio in the future but wildbrain’s work is still nice and clearly has a lot of passion tho …. mini ramble over i am very tired
