(25 Nov 1978) Canadian immigration officials, aided by the Malaysian navy and police began moving the first group of one hundred and fifty nine Vietnamese refugees from the freighter Hai Hong off Port Klang in Malaysia, to be flown to Montreal, Canada. Another four hundred and fifty refugees from the Hai Hong will be airlifted in three flights to Canada. France has agreed to take two hundred and twenty one of the two thousand five hundred and four Hai Hong refugees, who have been stranded off Port Klang.
