This video shows how to build a low cost DIY 1.2V to 19.5V, 300W constant current and constant voltage Battery Charger, for only $12. This charger design uses a commercial off the shelf DC-DC buck converter to regulate both the charging current and charging voltage thereby making this a universal charger, in the sense that it can be used to recharge various types of battery chemistries or designs such as, Lithium Phosphate, Lithium-ion, Lead-acid, AGM, and many more.
