Windows 7 users got a shock when they learned Microsoft was ending support for the operating system on January 14, 2020. Their computers would be vulnerable to security breaches and hacks since no more security patches and fixes would be provided by Microsoft after that date.

But there was hope because it was still possible to upgrade many Windows 7 computers to Windows 10 without having to pay for an upgrade. Many users took advantage of the free upgrade back in 2019. But now that the January 14, 2020 deadline has come and gone, many people have been asking if the free upgrade was still available.

In this video, I talk about the availability of the upgrade, and also about problems some people have experienced when trying to upgrade and how to overcome them. I'll actually go through the process of upgrading one of my computers and you'll get to see the unvarnished results of that.
