I'll show you how to format your text in chat or your name so it appears in color. You can use a single color, a two-color gradient, and switch colors in the middle of your message or name.
The format for applying a single color is ^c followed by the four digit binary color code (the digits are either f or zero) followed by your text. For example if I want to make the word "Hello" in blue I would type this in the message bar:
^c00ffHello
If I wanted to make a two color gradient I would use ^g followed by two color codes. The color code you type first applies to the top half of the letters. So if I wanted my message to be yellow and red i would type:
^gff0ff00fHello
Here is a list of the available colors:
BLACK [000F]
BLUE [00FF]
GREEN [0F0F]
LIGHT BLUE [0FFF]
RED [F00F]
PURPLE [F0FF]
YELLOW [FF0F]
WHITE [FFFF]
Here are a few color gradient combinations:
Fire (yellow/red) [FF0FF00F]
Ice (light blue/blue) [0FFF00FF]
Zombie (green/purple) [0F0FF0FF]
Sky (light blue/white) [0FFFFFFF]
