This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. How might your life be different if you were able to increase the amount of energy you felt each day and use this energy in more efficient ways? This talk invites you to consider how small changes in your day-to-day activities can lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Understanding how change occurs allows us to approach old problems with new perspectives. This alternative point of view reveals that when basic needs are met consistently and routinely, we create a self-replenishing resource pool that supplies us with the energy needed to generate sustainable solutions for the challenges in our lives.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
