Who needs to waste time learning about flinging when they can go out of bounds?
Portal's Test Chamber 18 can feasibly be completed in only 4 portals if glitches are used. This video shows my method of achieving this.
Two glitches are used in this video. The clipping glitch to get out of bounds at the beginning of the level, and the fizzler glitch to get back in. Three portals are necessary to escape, and one final portal is used to set up the fizzler glitch, putting Chell immediately at the end of the chamber.
NOTE that if you are completing this chamber as part of a normal playthrough and need the next level to load, there is a trigger you have to hit to enable the elevator. It is located near the edge of the final platform after you pop back in-bounds. Hitting this isn't required for challenge mode, just the level will never unload.
