The last known member of an indigenous tribe living in the western Brazilian Amazon has died. The man spent decades living alone after the rest of his people were killed in what some have described as a genocide. Professor Felipe Milanez from the Federal University of Bahia tells The World he died in a much more dignified way than other tribe members.
