BORIS JOHNSON and Ursula von der Leyen are set for a crunch Brexit phone call tonight - their fourth conversation on the matter in just two weeks.

This evening the Prime Minister will phone his European counterpart so they can discuss progress in the trade deal negotiations. It is not expected the 7pm call will lead to a breakthrough moment in talks, but will give the pair the chance to take stock of where they are at.
