So in this video I was kindly asked by Alex who runs SAKUMA if I fancied taking a trip down to Weymouth to visit the famous RED GILL factory, and see how they make these amazing lures. So obviously, I jumped at the opportunity.
so on Monday morning, I jumped in my truck, dropped the dogs off at my mum‘s and headed down to Weymouth.
Now I don’t believe I’ve done this video justice. I could’ve sat there for hours talking about the history and the dynamics involved in making a lure but obviously I had to try and condense the video into a 30 minute-ish section and I’m hoping that you get something from this there was no forward planning or rehearsal as you know on manic Fishing we just go straight in with one take and I’m no Steven Spielberg or Any sort of interviewer, but for those of you who know me and watch the channel on a regular basis, I’m sure you will understand. And at the end of the day, I’m not only making videos for you, but I’m making them for myself and I really enjoyed doing this one. I just like to say a huge thanks to Ben and Alex for making me very welcome and letting me watch and discuss the process of making lures.
