Prof May Ng is not only a mother, not only a mother of two special needs children (Brendon was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 2 years old and one of his siblings was born deaf), but also a pediatric endocrinologist. Prof Ng is a warm and lovely individual that provides parents with practical strategies to recognize the signs of puberty, support their child in a loving and successful manner, and have those “uncomfortable” conversations from a young age. Prof Ng is truly an inspirational specialist and mother and I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation.
