This is a promo that aired on ABC on the night of Monday, May 7, 1984.
The promo is for "Passages", the 16 and 17th episode (249-50th overall) of the eleventh-and final-season that served as the in-continuity series finale of the long running 1974-84 monster hit sitcom "Happy Days".
Though this was the final episode, ABC had five unaired episodes that would be burned off during the summer of 1984 before the network would be fully devoted to coverage of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. This particular episode aired on Tuesday, May 8, 1984.
After spending the season apart, longtime former lovebirds Joanie Cunningham (Erin Moran) and Charles "Chachi" Arcola (Scott Baio) realize that they were meant for each other, and Chachi proposes to Joanie, and she accepts. Meanwhile, Fonzie (Henry Winkler) becomes a Big Brother to a young orphan named Danny (Danny Ponce), and decides to adopt him. However, Fonzie's dream may be derailed when he finds out about regulations prohibiting single parents from adopting. After Fonzie almost gets into trouble when Danny runs away from the orphanage to be with him, Howard (Tom Bosley) learns of the restrictions, and he confronts the adoption agency on Fonzie's behalf - which leads to the agency reconsidering. On the day of Joanie and Chachi's wedding, Fonzie adopts Danny. Joanie's brother Richie (special guest star and original cast member Ron Howard) and and his wife Lori Beth (Lynda Goodfriend) arrive just in time to watch Joanie and Chachi tie the knot. Fonzie serves as Chachi's best man and Joanie's best friend Jenny Piccolo (Cathy Silvers) is Joanie's maid of honor. The ceremony is officiated by Father Delvecchio, the twin brother of longtime Cunningham family friend/co-owner of Arnold's/Chachi's stepfather Al (Al Molinaro in a dual role).
Oddly enough, not appearing in the episode are longtime Cunningham family friends Warren "Potsie" Weber (Anson Williams) and Ralph Malph (Donny Most).
