A series of protests have unfolded all across Assam after the Centre, on March 11, furnished the rules and regulations of the Citizenship Amendment Act, which was passed in 2019. On March 12, over 200 students of the Gauhati University protested strongly against the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act.
