The 2020 SEMA Show was cancelled, but our build for it was not! In Episode 6 of Built2Wander, we head to Toytec Lifts in Denver, CO and dive into a brand new Built2Wander vehicle build on a 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad. Originally planned for the 2020 SEMA Show, we stuck with our plans to go beyond your standard lift kit and 33” tires with this overland themed build.

Follow along as we take you through the installation of a true mid-travel suspension system utilizing components from both Toytec Lifts and Total Chaos Fabrication. We dive into the components included in the lift kit and highlight the features that make them superior to stock. We also walk you through our future plans for phase 2 of this build, which includes a set of 35” Nitto Tire Ridge Grapplers, Wheels, Armor, Gears, and additional accessories as well.

We roll directly from the shop to the trail and waste no time in putting this new 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma Build through its paces off road. After spending a few hours on the trail, we interview the owner of the truck and get his honest feedback and initial impressions with his newly lifted Tacoma.
