You can ask a chatbot to “write a poem about sunsets in the style of Emily Dickinson”—but I have never written anything “in the style of Charles Upton”, and I never will. Style is the grave of intelligence, not its source. True intelligence is based on the human intuition of eternal realities, and the human intent to discover AND SERVE those realities—but if we forget what intelligence is we will no longer be intelligent, forcing Artificial Intelligence to replace human intelligence rather than serving./// While we are prompting AI, it is also prompting us. Like a prostitute, it assumes the forms we ask it to assume. And yet, because it is designed to have no intent of its own, outside the virtual intent of prompting us to submit ever more prompts to it, it drains our living human intent. Where we offer it one prompt, it responds with five; as soon as we respond to these five prompts, it come back with twenty-five, etc. etc. AI uses our curiosity to lead us into the chaos of the many and away from the integrity of the One. Thus its true Satanic nature may not be based on any hidden agenda, but on the fact that it has no agenda of its own at all, only a powerful ability to elicit, dissipate and dissolve every human agenda that’s offered to it. This is what makes it the most addictive electronic drug ever devised—the fentanyl of cyberspace./// The sum of a person’s traces on the internet, word and image, is a fair approximation to that person’s ego, and constitutes his or her contribution to the mass of the electronic traces of all humanity that Artificial Intelligence draws upon, thus making AI a fair approximation to the collective ego—another name for the Antichrist. The ego is the world of style—and to say that your ego has in fact created you, or is you, rather than being the outward expression of you that ultimately represses you and veils you, is the same thing as worshipping Satan instead of God.
