I have a XFX Merc 310 Radeon RX 7900 XTX running on a Samsung Odyssey G70B 4k 144Hz high refresh rate monitor, noticed high idle power draw of 88-100 Watt which seems too high at idle state and waste of energy. Tried DDU install/uninstall several version of Radeon drivers but that didn't fix anything. Saw videos from Ancient gameplays channel on a fix by creating a custom resolution from Radeon Adrenalin software but the caveat is it will lower your Color to 6 bit from 10 bit which does not sounds like a good option. Was just playing with Radeon software settings and found the simple fix, which is just toggle back and forth graphics profile from "Standard" to "Power saving" and then to "Standard" again. Just remember, this fix only worked on a Single monitor setup, for high refresh rate multi monitor setup, the idle power issue still remains high and probably AMD is working on a fix.
