The Department of Correctional Services continues to fight to take over the administration of the Mangaung Prison in the Free State.
It terminated its contract with Bloemfontein Correctional Contracts who contacted G4s, last May, following the brazen escape of convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester from its facility.
The private security company took the department to court claiming the termination was premature and unfair.
