The racket-tailed treepie is an Asian treepie, a member of the crow family, Corvidae. It has a velvety-black forehead of short, plush black feathers with the rest of the bird being an oily green colour, though appearing black in dim light.
Baby bird lays quietly in the nest and it rains very quickly. Mother bird immediately flew to her chick. It had been raining for so long that the chick wanted to get out from under her mother's wings but the mother refused baby to leave.
