Avoid Cardio When Building Muscle...[ Ссылка ]
If you are trying to build muscle, is it a good idea to also do cardio? Well if you are just trying to build muscle, you need to avoid doing cardio. So, why should you avoid cardio when you are trying to build muscle? Cardio is great when your goal is only fat loss. It can also be detrimental when your goal is muscle gain. Here are some things you need to focus on when you are trying to build muscle.
YOU NEED TO BE EATING AT A CALORIC SURPLUS, and focus on OPTIMIZING YOUR HORMONES. This will help you burn more calories, which will help you to build more muscle. You need to be doing RESISTANCE TRAINING, that is the biggest key for helping you build muscle. Make sure to combine resistance training with eating at a caloric surplus to make sure your body is fueled for your workouts, and to help your muscle recover.
You are not going to be able to build muscle optimally, if you are eating at a caloric deficit and doing cardio. You need to optimize your hormones because testosterone is crucial for building muscle. Cardio can impact your testosterone levels in a negative way. Now, you still want to burn fat, you don’t want to be lazy and inactive. If you want to get the benefits of a cardio workout, without doing cardio, decrease the amount of rest time in your workouts between sets. That is a replacement for normal cardio that you would do.
If you are trying to build muscle, you actually want to increase the intensity in your workouts. Have more time under tension and less rest to get the benefits of cardio, while building muscle at the same time. Doing GIANT SETS and DROP SETS are great ways to exercise for fat loss and building muscle at the same time.
There are other ways to burn fat and lose weight, without having to do cardio exercises. Decrease the rest time in your workouts, and you are still going to get great cardiovascular activity in the workouts. The heart health benefits are still there, with building muscle in resistance training.
Make sure you are still being active, but don’t just do it to lose fat. There are better ways out there to lose fat and build muscle at the same time. You want to make sure that you are still fueling your body.
