The question of what is the purpose of sleep has puzzled scientists for centuries. Newer technologies and developments have allowed us to understand that sleep, far from being a passive process, is actually an active metabolic state, preparing the waking brain for the functions of the day.
In this webinar, we will examine the role of sleep in clearing waste products from the brain. Novel research now is suggesting that sleep may represent a new avenue for intervention for treatment of neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s dementia.
Join us for a quick tour of some of these questions, and learn what you can do to enhance your sleep to improve your own cognitive and mental health in this webinar.
