January 6: Managing Across Generations Through 6 Hat Thinking
Jordan Debbink, CEA, Director of Development, CYN Counseling Center
Details: We are often faced with making split-second decisions in stressful situations and sometimes leave out valuable voices in the process. The Six Thinking Hats process allows us to respond appropriately to problems that arise. You will learn step-by-step how to use all Six Thinking Hats in everyday life to achieve better and less chaotic results. Attendees will be asked to identify with a thinking hat they use regularly and subconsciously. This training is best for employees who oversee structured volunteer committees or groups or for organizations looking to recreate, rebrand or start up volunteer groups. Jordan is an experienced fund development officer skilled in event management, strategic planning, board governance, and grant writing and allocation.
